We are driving through the Western Gobi stones desert towards the Lake of Orug Nuur. This is the area that in 1957 was destroyed by force ten earthquake. The locals still remember it and tell that for four days the sky and the land have exchanged places and one couldn\u2019t see a meter further because of the dust; ibex came down for the hills and joined the domestic herds. However, we can\u2019t get closer to the lake since the area is swampy and scrubby.
